Our product, the PA-100 AST System, which won the prestigious Longitude Prize 2024, enables rapid diagnosis of bacterial infections and recommendation for personalized antibiotic treatment in less than an hour. This means patients can receive the right treatment much faster, which is critical both for individual health and for global public health.

About the Role
The role as HR Director is both operational and strategic. You will be part of the Sysmex Astrego management team and report directly to the CEO. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to being a great place to work and in supporting our growth. The office is based in Ultuna in Uppsala.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the people & organization agenda to execute business strategy
• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen organizational culture, diversity, equity and inclusion
• Implement the HRM system Success Factors
• Responsible for the recruitment process and succession planning
• Managing performance and appraisal systems that drive performance
• Support the managers in their daily people management
• Report on HR KPI’s to the owner
• Ensure compliance with global labour laws, internal policies and ethical standards
  
  

Your Profile

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven working experience in HR, 5 – 10 years
• Knowledge of HR systems, preferably Success Factors and HRMFlex
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Proficiency in Swedish and English; both oral and written
